Lucknow: By emphasizing on bringing women into the mainstream of politics, party General Secretary Priyanka Gandhi Vadra, who is trying to cross the Congress’s election lines in Uttar Pradesh. Associating himself with the dialogue from the famous film Deewar, he said, “I have behens (women).”
Priyanka, in a conversation with a TV channel on Wednesday, associated herself with the famous dialogue of the film ‘Deewar’. He was asked whether the Congress has no basis of caste or religion in Uttar Pradesh, so it has started the talk of women. To this the party general secretary said, “Have you heard that dialogue of Amitabh Bachchan in the film Deewar? Then Shashi Kapoor said I have a mother. So I am saying that I have sisters (women).”
