LucknowPolitical upheaval continues before the Uttar Pradesh elections (UP Assembly Election 2022). Another BJP MLA has left the party in UP. According to ANI, BJP MLA Vinay Shakya has quit the party. In his letter to the party, Shakya wrote, “Swami Prasad Maurya is the voice of Dalits and he is our leader. I am with them.”
Earlier, BJP MLA Dr Mukesh Verma issued a letter on Thursday morning and resigned from the primary membership of the Bharatiya Janata Party. In a letter sent to the state president of the Bharatiya Janata Party, he has written that in the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), the backward Dalits and minorities were not given any attention and no respect was given to them.
