PM Modi, who is coming to Kanpur on December 28, will provide accessible and smart transportation facilities to the people of the city. On Tuesday, the Prime Minister will inaugurate the complete section of the Kanpur Metro Rail Project in the metropolis situated on the banks of river Ganga. IIT Kanpur to Moti Jheel, built at a cost of over Rs 11,000 crore, will inspect the 9-km stretch and travel by metro train. Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath will also be present on this occasion.
According to PM Modi’s thinking of providing superfast transport service to the cities, now Kanpur metropolis will also run at a faster speed. This will give impetus to the development of UP. The entire length of the metro rail project in Kanpur is 32 km and is being built at a cost of over Rs 11,000 crore. Prime Minister Modi will also inaugurate the Bina-Panki multiproduct pipeline project, built at a cost of over Rs 1500 crore. The 356 km long project has a capacity of about 3.45 million metric tonnes per annum. Spread from Bina Refinery in Madhya Pradesh to Panki in Kanpur, the project will help transport petroleum products from Bina Refinery in the region.
IIT Kanpur students will get digital degrees for the first time at the hands of PM Modi
Prime Minister Narendra Modi will attend the 54th convocation of IIT Kanpur as the chief guest during his visit to Kanpur on Tuesday.
