Modi said that in this year’s budget, a provision has been made to allocate money for the construction of more than 80 lakh houses across the country. So far more than Rs 2.25 lakh crore has been spent on this scheme. He said that in this biggest epidemic in 100 years, our government has spent 2 lakh 60 thousand crore rupees for free ration to the poor. 80 thousand crore rupees more will be spent on this in the next 6 months.
The PM said that since coming to the government in 2014, our government started searching for these fake names and removed them from the list of ration so that the poor could get their due. He said that when these people had the government, they had posted their 4 crore fake people on paper to loot the ration of the poor. Ration was picked up in the name of these 4 crore fake people, sold in the market, and their money used to reach the black accounts of these people.
