In such a situation, PM Modi will hold an important meeting on Thursday evening. In this meeting, PM Modi will review the situation of COVID in India. According to ANI, this important meeting is expected to take place at 6:30 pm.
By the way, 236 cases of ‘Omicron’, a new form of Coronavirus, have been reported in the country, out of which 104 people have become infection free or have migrated to other places. These cases were reported in 16 states and union territories. The Union Health Ministry said on Thursday that Maharashtra has the maximum number of 65 cases of ‘Omicron’ nature, 64 in Delhi, 24 in Telangana, 21 in Rajasthan, Karnataka. There have been 19 cases in Karnataka and 15 in Kerala.

According to the updated data released by the ministry at 8 am, after 7,495 new cases of COVID-19 were reported in India in a day, the number of infected in the country increased to 3,47,65,976. At the same time, the number of patients under treatment has increased to 78,291. After the death of 434 more infected, the death toll increased to 4,78,759.
