PM Modi in Varanasi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi is going to visit his Lok Sabha constituency Varanasi on Monday. Prime Minister Modi will dedicate 6-lane widening work of Handia-Raja Talab section of National Highway No-2 (NH-2) during his visit to Varanasi. The project connects Prayagraj and Varanasi and is also a major part of the Golden Quadrilateral Project-1 (Delhi-Kolkata Corridor). The cost of this project is Rs. 2,447 crores. CM Adityanath will also accompany PM on this tour.
Will attend the ‘Dev Deepavali’ festival
Earlier the journey between Prayagraj to Varanasi took about 3:30 hours. Now the journey from Prayagraj to Varanasi will take only 1:30 hours. The cost of this project is Rs. 2,447 crores. Modi will take stock of Shri Kashi Vishwanath Temple Dham project site and will attend the ‘Dev Deepavali’ festival held at Rajghat. He will also visit the Sarnath Archaeological Complex and watch the light and sound show.
Tight security
Tight security arrangements have been made here for the Prime Minister’s visit. Special security arrangements have been made from ground to sky. The CRPF, CISF, ITBP along with CO level officers, inspectors and sub-inspectors along with a large squad of policemen will keep an eye on the rumble. Along with this, security will also be monitored through CCTV cameras and drones.
