New Delhi. Prime Minister Narendra Modi condoled the death of legendary singer Lata Mangeshkar on Sunday morning, saying he cannot express his grief in words. He tweeted, “Lata didi expresses various emotions through her songs. He closely observed the changes that have taken place in the Indian film industry over the decades. Beyond films, she was always zealous for the development of India. She always wanted to see a strong and developed India.”

She was 92 years old.
