Pimpri: The Bhoomi Pujan of Pimpri-Chinchwad University was performed at the hands of former MP Vidura alias Nana Navale in Satgaon of Mohite Wadi of Maval Taluka. In his address, he said that if the feelings of the mind are good, the deeds are also good. Pune is known worldwide as the home of education. Educational institutions were kept in Pune under the leadership of Lokmanya Tilak, Agarkar and Gokhale. Now the name of Shankarrao Bajirao Patil alias Bhau will have to be taken after him. Bhau and the leader of the people Sharad Pawar never did petty politics. The institution is moving towards education. Navale also said that Pimpri-Chinchwad University was established on the basis of trust between all the trustees.
On this occasion MP Shrirang Barne, MLA Sunil Shelke, former MLA Krishnarao Bhagde, President of Pimpri-Chinchwad Education Trust and former MLA Dnyaneshwar Landage, Vice President Padmaja Bhosale, Treasurer Shantaram Garade, Secretary Vitthal Kalbhor, Trustee Harshvardhan Patil, Executive Director Dr. Girish Desai as well as senior leaders Mauli Dabhade, Chandrakant Satkar, Tehsildar of Maval Madhusudan Barge, Santosh Khandge, Ramdas Kakade, Chandrakant Shete, Nandkumar Shelar, Bhausaheb Karke, Sarpanch and Deputy Sarpanch of Satgaon and businessman Raju Mhaske, architect Kiran Kalech and PCET) and principals and principals of all schools and colleges affiliated to New Maharashtra Institute (NMIT) were present.

Dnyaneshwar Landage said that in the first phase an educational complex will be set up on 10 acres of land and it will be expanded soon. Vitthal Kalbhor welcomed the guests.
