Petrol, Diesel Price Today: The common man is not getting relief from the inflation of petrol and diesel. Government oil companies have increased the prices of petrol and diesel for the 11th consecutive day on 19 February. Today, the prices of petrol and diesel have increased from 27 paise to 35 paise per liter. With this, for the first time petrol in Delhi is being sold beyond Rs 90 per liter. In Mumbai it is around Rs 97 per liter, which is a record high. At the same time, in Sri Ganganagar, normal petrol has gone beyond Rs 100 per liter.
Brent crude at 1-year high
Crude oil prices are also increasing continuously in the international market. Brent crude is over $ 65. Experts are assuming that crude can go up to $ 70 a barrel in the next few days. WTI crude can also be expensive up to $ 65 per barrel. In fact, as the economy is opening in countries during the unlock period, the demand for crude oil is also increasing. Therefore, crude oil is increasing. This is the biggest reason for the increase in prices of petrol and diesel. On the other hand, the central and state governments are not willing to reduce their tax, due to which the common man is paying 4 times the base price.
