Many passengers are traveling from Ajni station without wearing masks, but action is not being taken against them. Due to lack of regular action, the spirits of those who do not wear masks are high. Surprisingly, the squads posted at the station are checking the tickets of the passengers, but are not showing interest in checking both the doses of Corona. However, the railway administration claims that COVID protocols are being fully followed in the station premises and action is taken to collect fines from those who do not wear masks.

Due to Corona, the number of passengers at Ajni station has reduced significantly, due to which the food stall at platform number 1 has been closed. A stall was operated on this platform to sell masks and other medical items, which was operated by a Pune-based company. Due to slowing down of business, the company thought of its own good in closing the stalls and leaving. Thus, at present, the only food stall is operating on platform number 2 of the station. Surprisingly, the people doing business in the station premises are troubled by the shortage of passengers, while the railway officials claim that there is no decrease in the number of passengers. He says that special care is also being taken for cleanliness in the station premises.

Ajni station is an important station of the city. It comes under Nagpur Division of Central Railway. At present, about 17 trains have stoppage here. Reservation facility is not available at the station. Despite this, thousands of passengers travel daily from here. A large number of people come here to leave or pick up their families. It is said that even during the Corona crisis, about 200 platform tickets are being sold daily. In such a situation, there is a need to take strict steps in the station premises to prevent corona infection. Also, there is a need to run a campaign to make the common people aware.
