- Corona made the condition of the passengers miserable
Chandrapur, Indian Railways is considered to be the lifeline for the people of the country. This is the easiest way to reach from one place to another at the lowest fare. There was a time when the general coaches of express trains along with passenger trains were packed with passengers. But the corona epidemic has made such a condition of the people that if you bite, then there is no blood. In view of the Corona crisis, Indian Railways had stopped the operation of all trains.
People kept waiting for the trains for one and a half years and after that gradually special trains were started, whose number is increasing but the lack of passenger trains is still hurting the passengers. Most of the trains are reserved in the special train that is being started. And the fare of the unreserved trains that have been started is so much that only a good part of the earnings of the poor passenger is being spent on the fare. Despite this, from the members of the railway committees and the members of the railways’ associations and the politicians, this is We are trying to show how much convenience the passengers have got due to them. Welcome to the special trains.
Earlier there were passenger trains for all directions
It is noteworthy that before the outbreak of Corona epidemic, many passenger trains used to run from Ballarshah and Chandafort rail stations in the district, which was not only availed by the poor sections of the passengers but also employed, students, small businessmen used to get the benefit of these passenger trains. Even the households of businessmen and auto drivers around the railway station rested on it. But today the situation is that the employed students have to live in cities on rent.
At the same time, small businessmen, auto drivers have been forced to do other business. From Ballarshah railway station there was Kazipeth-Ajni Passenger for those going towards Nagpur, Wardha, Amravati, Ballarshah Bhusaval for Akola, Bhagyanagari Express and Ramgiri train for those going towards South. And
There was a passenger train from Ballarshah at 6 am, 1.30 pm and 5 pm to go towards Gondia. These trains were like sanjeevani for the passengers of South Indian, Gujarat, Khandesh, Marathwada and the passengers of Central India. But also the operation of trains has been completely stopped.
Ballarshah – only one out of three trains for Gondia
After reducing the speed of Corona, whichever train is being started now, it is not a passenger train but a special one. And its fare is twice the previous fare. All trains running via Ballarshah-Chandafort-Gondia are closed, only one train is running. Whose fare was Rs 55 earlier, now it has increased to Rs 90. Being the only passenger train on this route, passengers are facing a lot of inconvenience. Its noon time, which is not getting any benefit from thousands of passengers who come in the morning and return in the evening. As before, passengers are waiting for the convenience of trains of all three times.
Cancer victims denied access to Mumbai
The Ballarshah-Bhusaval train departed from Ballarshah in the evening with 6 coaches reserved for Mumbai connecting to the Sevagram Express coming from Nagpur at Wardha. The rest of the train used to leave for Bhusaval. Cancer patients used to get maximum benefit of this. Today there is not a single train for cancer patients going towards Mumbai. The recently introduced Wardha-Ballarshah-Wardha MEMU train is being demanded to run from Ballarshah to Bhusaval in the morning.
No local train for Nagpur
Earlier, passenger trains were available from Kazipeth-Ajni and Nagbhid to Itwari to go to the state’s sub-capital Nagpur. Before the Corona crisis, the Nagbhid-Itwari train was stopped due to the broad gauge of the railway route from Nagbhid to Nagpur. Corona has done the right thing, Kazipeth-Ajni has also been closed.
Now if the passenger has to go to Nagpur, then make advance reservation and go by special trains or take the help of private vehicles. The way Railways has started Wardha-Balshah-Wardha MEMU train, in the same way, if Ballarshah-Nagpur-Ballarshah MEMU starts, thousands of passengers can get its benefit.
Trouble for travelers going south
The first to go south was the Ramgiri and Bhagyanagari Express train. Now out of these, only Ramgiri is running whose fare is high, while South Central Railway Secunderabad zone is running not only express but also passenger train till Kagaznagar in its area. Bhagyanagari is coming till Kagaznagar. Why is it not expanding till Ballarshah as before? Railways have no answer for this. Such railway passengers are facing a lot of inconvenience.
As long as there is corona there is no relief for the passengers
As long as the corona is overshadowed, the passengers do not see any relief. All those whose business is related to the movement of these passenger trains, including the poor section, are praying that the corona should end soon and they should get the facility of passenger trains as before.
