Imran Khan’s government is already on target of the opposition due to rising inflation. On the other hand, if the ‘dough crisis’ looms in the country, there will be all-round pressure on Imran. Significantly, due to Corona, the fleet of Pakistani economy is already garbled.

In a statement released by the PPP’s media office on Wednesday, Bilawal strongly criticized the Imran government for fixing the price of 40 kg of wheat at Rs 1800. Bilawal accused the Imran government of making false claims that it has increased the price of subsidy by 400 per cent.
Imran responsible for the oppression of farmers
Bilawal claimed that this increase was only 28 percent, as the government increased the purchase price from 1400 to 1800 rupees. He said that his party will not allow the oppression of farmers in Sindh and the relief price of 40 kg wheat will be raised to Rs 2000 in the province. The chairman of the PPP alleged that for the first time in the history of the country, the support price of wheat is not equal in all the provinces. Imran Khan is responsible for this persecution of farmers of Punjab, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Balochistan.
‘Dough crisis’ created due to poor plans of Imran government
The chairman of PPP also emphasized on reducing the prices of fertilizers, seeds, pesticides, agricultural machinery and electricity. Whose prices have been increased by 150 percent. Reminding that the government has raised the flour crisis twice in three years. Bilawal said that it is the result of Imran Khan’s poor plans of the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) government that today only two to two and a half weeks of wheat stock is available in the country. He said, if the crisis is not dealt with, the country may have to face the shortage of flour once again.
Pakistan forced to import wheat from outside
According to Pakistani newspaper Dawn, Bilawal expressed regret that Pakistan, known as the wheat producing country, is now importing wheat. He said that this is due to the misfortune of Pakistani politicians, who do not even know the ‘A’ of Agriculture. Meanwhile, in a separate statement, PPP parliamentary leader Sherry Rehman expressed concern over the plan to split the Pakistan International Airline (PIA) into two companies.
