According to the Airport Authority, Ahmedabad Airport handles more than 1 crore passengers annually. Jaipur, Lucknow and Trivandrum have less than 45 lakh traffic annually. However, the arrival of Corona has resulted in a significant reduction in passenger traffic due to limited flights.
Adani had earlier sought time to handle the management
The situation that arose after the arrival of Covid-19 also affected the Adani Group. Due to all this, Adani had asked for time till February 2021 to handle the management of the airport. However, the Airport Authority denied the company’s claim and only asked the airport management to listen by November 2020.
