So far, only 8.31 percent citizens have lived the booster dose, along with this, the number of people who completed the second dose has also decreased, 7 lakh 40 thousand 141 have taken the second dose, its percentage is being told as 69.15 as compared to the target.
There was an uproar in the first and second wave of corona in the district, hundreds of people had lost their lives as they got infected at the speed. Sensing the situation, the government launched a campaign for corona vaccination. To avoid this, people were seen reaching the centers and taking doses.
Vaccination of 12 to 18 age group started
First of all, health workers and frontline workers were vaccinated, after that priority was given to elderly citizens. The rules have also been removed, due to which the citizens have become more careless, due to this the corona vaccination campaign has also been affected, now the government has also started immunization of adolescents in the age group of 12 to 18 years. They are seen to be indifferent to the dosage, in the same way adolescents are also seen shying away from taking the vaccine.
10 lakh took the first vaccine of corona
A target has been set to vaccinate 10 lakh 70 thousand 352 people in the district, out of which 10 lakh 1 thousand 130 people have taken their first vaccine, its percentage has been recorded as 93.53, apart from this 7 lakh 40 thousand 141 people have completed the second vaccination. So far, only 15 thousand 435 have taken booster dose, the percentage of which is being told only 8.31.
Vaccination of 16,074 in 12 to 14 groups
Vaccination of children of 12 to 14 age group has been started in the district, so far 16 thousand 74 children have taken the first vaccine, its percentage has been recorded as 38.86, the target is to vaccinate about 41,362 children, apart from this 15 to 18 age group K 36 thousand 764 have completed the first and 20 thousand 497 have completed the second vaccine.
