According to the State Health Department, out of 6 new patients found in the state, 4 patients were found in Pune. Whereas, 2 patients have been found in Pimpri Chinchwad. Now the total number of infected in the state has increased to 460. However, the good thing is that so far 180 people have become virus free among the Omicron infected.

9,170 new cases, 7 deaths in the state
In Maharashtra, 9,170 new cases of coronavirus infection have been reported in the last 24 hours, while 7 patients died. After which the total number of infected in the state has increased to 66,87,991 and the number of dead has increased to 1,41,533. Apart from this, 1,445 people have returned home after getting corona free. So far 65,10,541 people have been cured of corona in the state. At present, 32,225 active patients are being treated in the state.
