In the backdrop of the arrival of some patients of ‘Omicron’ disease in some parts of Maharashtra, creating an atmosphere of fear in the country, now attention is being paid to citizens coming to India from abroad. Citizens who have gone abroad for jobs and education are returning to India and are being screened at the airport.
The Health Department has been successful in locating 530 such migrants from five districts of Amravati division, but the concern of the Health Department has increased even more due to the fact that 107 citizens have not been traced in the department so far. Meanwhile, health department sources have informed that 107 civilians are being searched on a war footing after a civilian Amicron was found positive in Buldhana.
Citizens who went abroad for education, jobs and business returned to India last year due to the outbreak of Corona. The entire country has suffered due to the delay in their search and investigation and is still suffering today. The state government is taking precautionary steps so that such a situation does not arise during the Omicron period. Citizens coming from abroad are being checked at the airport. Citizens returning to their homes from there are being kept in home isolation.
The state government informed the health department and all district administrations that 695 citizens of all five districts of Amravati division had returned from abroad. According to the Administration and Health Department, out of 695, 530 citizens have been found. Out of these, RTPCR test of 258 citizens has been done. In this, 36 citizens of Akola district, Amravati 95, Buldhana 52, Washim 17 and Yavamal district 58 are included.
The Health Department has become alert after the test ‘Omicron’ of a foreigner from Buldhana district came positive. Due to the Omicron virus, there is panic in many countries at this time. Meanwhile, 107 citizens of Amravati division, who are currently missing, are being searched for these citizens in view of Omicron after being found ‘Omicron’ positive patient in Buldhana. In which the maximum 50 of Akola district, Yavatmal 35, Amravati 20 and one each from Baldhana and Washim districts are included.
Meanwhile, 35 people mentioned as citizens of Akola district have not been traced, another 15 citizens are from other districts. According to the information received from the government, the home address of 7 citizens has not been found, two infants have not been tested for RTPCR and the names of three citizens have appeared in the government list twice, health department sources have given this information.
