BallarshahThe much awaited Pitline work at Ballarshah Railway Station has finally been completed. This pitline will be transferred to the Railways within the next one week. With the completion of pitline work, the dream of independent train passengers in any corner of the country can now also take shape. Every new train starting from here will not only benefit the passengers of Chandrapur district but also the passengers of Gadchiroli, Yavatmal, Telangana and Wardha districts adjoining Maharashtra.
As soon as the pitline is arranged, the Central Railway is going to run a train from Ballarshah to Dadar on a pilot basis from April 11 on a pilot basis. This train is starting on a pilot basis for three days a week. Similarly, trains can start for all areas including Kolkata, Chennai, Bangalore, New Delhi in future.

It is noteworthy that the name of Ballarshah Junction situated at the extreme end of Maharashtra is famous all over the country. This Central Railway, South Central Railway, South East Central Railway is the contact center of these three zones. Hence it is also an interchange point. At present, all trains going from South to New Delhi and from New Delhi to South have a stoppage at Ballarshah.
Although Chandrapur city is the district headquarters but Ballarshah has more importance than Chandrapur. The facility of this pitline has increased the utility of Ballarshah railway station even more. In future, Ballarshah railway station will be counted among the selected famous A-class stations of the country if the benefit of trains for major cities of the country like Mumbai, Howrah, Chennai, Ahmedabad is availed here.
Instead of Dadar, trains run till CST
At present, railway passengers are very happy about the train starting experimentally for Mumbai. However, instead of Ballarshah to Dadar, this train should be from Ballarshah to CST Mumbai because it can benefit everyone from cancer patients to passengers. Before the Corona crisis, the Sevagram Express, which used to run from here as a link express, used to go to CST Mumbai.
Initially, only two of its coaches were reserved, but due to continuous increase in demand, the reserved coaches were increased to six. From this it can be estimated that how useful the train is till CST to the passengers here. Summer special will run till Dadar where after catching local passengers will have to go towards further stations. In such a situation, it can be estimated how much trouble the patients suffering from cancer will be.
Due to this half-finished journey of about 16 hours, the Ballarshah_Dadar Summer Special, which is starting experimentally, will be able to get passengers, it is being feared that most of the rail passengers still have the same demand that if they have to start, then they have to experiment. Instead, an independent train should be arranged directly from Ballarshah to CST. Or else the summer special Ballarshah-Dadar being started here should be run from Nagpur by starting Sewagram running from Nagpur. In view of the convenience of railway passengers, there is a need to seriously reconsider this before starting the train by the Central Railway.
Pitline will increase importance – Ahir
The pitline was approved during the tenure of former Union Minister of State for Home Hansraj Ahir. He said that the arrangement of pitline was his dream project. which has come true. Now trains are starting for Pune, Mumbai due to pitline, in future trains will also run for Kolkata, Madras, Bangalore, Delhi. There is no doubt that Ballarshah railway station will get extraordinary importance from the pitline. It will be counted among the important railway stations of the country.
