Nagpur. In view of the ever-increasing figures of Corona in the city, a campaign has been launched to strictly follow the rules. While knocking is being done in lawns, halls etc., taking action against those who roam without masks, now Rs 500. fine is being collected. On Monday, action was taken against 60 such people who violated the rules. A total fine of Rs 30,000 was recovered from them. Apart from this, cases of non-compliance of social distancing are also being exposed in many places. People are seen roaming freely in the markets without masks, due to which teams have been deployed there for action.

On Monday, the Municipal Corporation knocked in different areas of each zone, in which action was taken against the maximum 16 people roaming without masks in Laxminagar zone. Similarly, 3 in Dharampeth zone, 1 in Hanumannagar zone, 7 in Dhantoli zone, 8 in Nehrunagar zone, 7 in Gandhibagh zone, 5 in Satranjipura zone, 12 in Asinagar zone and 1 person in Mangalwari zone.
Lawn and hall were also fined
On Monday, action was taken by the Municipal Corporation for violating the rules while organizing the function in different zones. A religious program was organized at Radhemangalam Hall located in Deendayalnagar under Laxminagar zone. Where there was a violation of social distancing, a fine of Rs 5,000 was imposed. Similarly, a fine of Rs 10,000 was collected for dumping waste food in the sewerage line at Vidarbha Mahakaushal Kshatriya Auditorium at Daga Layout. Apart from this, 10,000 rupees were recovered in Shere Punjab Lawns under Asinagar zone without masks and for violation of social distancing.
