No plan for lockdown in Delhi at present: Health Minister Satyendar Jain

New Delhi: The Delhi government has dismissed the news of the imposition of lockdown amid the increasing pace of corona virus cases in Delhi. ANI reported that, Delhi Health Minister Satyendra Jain said on Thursday that, at present, there is no plan for lockdown in Delhi. Jain said, there will be about 27,500 cases of corona in Delhi today. The hospitalization rate of corona patients is stable for the last 4 days which is a good sign. The bed admission rate is 15%. The figures show that soon the cases of COVID will decrease.

Significantly, during the second wave of Corona, Delhi was one of the most affected areas of the country as compared to other parts of the country. During the second wave of corona in Delhi, there was a severe shortage of oxygen. Recently, there has been a huge increase in the cases of corona in Delhi. Jain has told that, even today, the corona cases in Delhi are expected to cross 27,000.

Let us tell you that due to the increase in the corona cases happening continuously in the capital of the country, strict restrictions have been implemented. In view of these restrictions, all private offices in Delhi have been ordered to be completely closed. Amidst all this, speculations were being made about the lockdown in Delhi. But now CM Arvind Kejriwal has made it clear that there will be no lockdown in Delhi.

Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal had said on Monday that, restrictions are being imposed under a lot of compulsion, we will remove the ban as soon as possible. We are not imposing lockdown.
