New Year 2022 Celebration: Due to the Corona epidemic restrictions, this time the celebration of New Year will be faded in many states. In this sequence, the people of Haryana will also not be able to celebrate the new year on the night of December 31 this year.
With regard to the New Year celebrations amid rising cases of COVID-19, the Haryana government said that curfew will remain in force from 11 pm to 5 am to prevent people from roaming outside except in essential services.
Gurugram ACP Preet Pal said that as per the order of the government, there will be night curfew from 11 pm to 5 am. Therefore people will not be allowed to roam outside except in essential services. We request people to follow the guidelines and celebrate the new year at their homes.

Let us tell you that the corona virus infection is now wreaking havoc across the country. In such a situation, the government and the administration are afraid that the celebration of New Year may take the form of spreader of Corona. Meanwhile, in view of the increasing cases of corona virus and its new variant Omicron, night curfew and other restrictions have been imposed in many states of the country before the new year. The state governments have banned the celebration of New Year along with Night Curfew.

The national capital Delhi tops those who imposed strict restrictions before the year 2022. A ‘Yellow Alert’ has been issued in Delhi due to the increase in the cases of Omicron. Night curfew has been imposed in the capital from 10 pm to 5 am. Apart from this, instructions have been given to run restaurants, bars, public transport with 50 percent seating capacity.
Maharashtra
Section 144 has been implemented in Mumbai from today till January 7, 2022. Mumbai Police has banned parties in any closed or open space, including restaurants, hotels, bars, pubs, resorts and clubs, along with New Year celebrations from December 30 to January 7. Events in closed auditoriums have been allowed to fill up to 50 per cent of the capacity, while events in open spaces have been allowed to have 25 per cent capacity. On New Year’s Day, citizens are allowed to visit religious places with proper social distancing.
The Karnataka government has decided to impose night curfew for 10 days from December 28 between 10 pm to 5 am. The government has also banned all New Year parties and gatherings in public places. However, pubs and clubs have been allowed to run with 50 per cent seating capacity from December 30 to January 2.
A top state police official said New Year’s Eve celebrations have been banned on beaches across Tamil Nadu. People are advised not to congregate in public places and those driving after consuming alcohol will be arrested. The DGP said in a statement that there is no permission to celebrate New Year’s Eve on beaches in Tamil Nadu. People are urged to celebrate at their homes without causing inconvenience to others.
The Gujarat government has extended the night curfew for two hours in eight cities from December 25. Curfew will remain in force in Ahmedabad, Surat, Rajkot, Vadodara, Junagadh, Jamnagar, Bhavnagar and Gandhinagar from 11 pm to 5 am instead of 1 pm to 5 am.
Uttar Pradesh
The Yogi Adityanath government of Uttar Pradesh has announced to impose night curfew from 11 pm to 5 am on Friday. Also, Section 144 has been implemented in the capital Lucknow and Noida.
The Odisha government has already banned public gatherings on the New Year. Night curfew is in force in all urban areas of the state from 10 pm to 5 am. The state government has banned New Year night celebrations in hotels, clubs, restaurants, parks, convention halls and other public places.
The Goa government has not yet banned the celebration of the new year, but Goa Chief Minister Pramod Sawant said on Wednesday that the state government will provide complete vaccination or corona virus protection for people attending a party or restaurant organized for the celebration of the new year. Making it mandatory to bring a report of not being infected. He said that the organizers of various events in the state have to ensure that the guests carry these certificates.
