New Delhi: Corona virus cases in the country in a day, more than one lakh were registered after 214 days, due to which the total number of cases of infection has increased to 3,52,26,386. These include 3,007 cases of Omicron nature from 27 states and union territories. According to the updated data of the Union Health Ministry till 8 am on Friday, out of the total cases of Omicron that have come so far, 1,199 people have become healthy or have left the country.
Maharashtra had the maximum number of 876 cases. This was followed by 465 cases in Delhi, 333 in Karnataka, 291 in Rajasthan, 284 in Kerala and 204 in Gujarat. In the country, 1,17,100 new cases of this epidemic were reported in a day, while the number of patients under treatment increased to 3,71,363, which is the highest in about 120 days. The death toll has risen to 4,83,178 after 302 patients lost their lives in a single day.

On June 7 last year, more than one lakh cases were reported in the country and a total of 1,00,636 cases were registered then. The ministry said that the number of patients under treatment is 1.05 percent of the total cases of infection, while the national rate of patients recovering from COVID-19 is 97.57 percent.
