One day water supply
For the first time since November 2019, the water supply department of the Municipal Corporation started water supply after leaving one day for two months on the basis of equitable water distribution. It has been maintained since then. There is enough water in the dam for next year, water worries are over. This was expected to provide relief in the supply of water during the day and supply water to the residents daily, but it turned out to be wrong. The water supply, which was started except one day, was kept smooth. After that the administration testified that daily water supply would be done in a phased manner from the end of November. However, the administration could not meet that deadline. The ruling party BJP is responsible for this. The NCP staged an agitation against the BJP and the administration, accusing the ruling BJP of not providing daily water supply to the residents.
The corporators turned their backs on the movement
A section of the Nationalist Congress Party staged a sit-in against the lack of water supply. However, prominent workers, including party corporators, turned their backs on the movement. The agitation was settled in ten-fifteen minutes against the immobile protesters, the famine of announcements, the naming of local BJP leaders. Under the leadership of city president Sanjog Waghre, as many corporators as could be counted on the finger were present in this movement, while there are 36 corporators of the party in the municipal corporation. The agitation ended by giving a statement to the Municipal Commissioner Rajesh Patil.
