PimpriNationalist Congress Party (NCP) won a landslide victory in the first election of Dehugaon Nagar Panchayat. Nationalist Congress Party MLA from Maval Assembly Sunil Shelke has taken the first revenge of the defeat of youth leader Parth Pawar in Maval Lok Sabha constituency in 2019. The Shiv Sena and the Congress were expelled from the Srikshetra Dehugaon Nagar Panchayat elections, while the BJP had to be content with just one seat. Therefore, Shiv Sena MP Shrirang Barne and former BJP minister Bala Bhagade are being considered as a big setback.
In the first election to Dehugaon Nagar Panchayat, 14 candidates of Nationalist Congress Party, 2 Independents and 1 candidate of BJP have won. The Nationalist Congress Party has got unilateral power in the first Nagar Panchayat itself.
Shiv Sena and Congress wiped out
No candidate from Shiv Sena and Congress has been selected. After the transformation of Gram Panchayat into Nagar Panchayat, the first election to Dehugaon Nagar Panchayat was held. Voting took place in two phases. Today their votes were counted. The three parties of Maha Vikas Aghadi of the state, Nationalist Congress Party, Shiv Sena and Congress had fought separately. In this NCP has got undisputed power. However, two of its veterans have had to face defeat. MLA Sunil Shelke, who proved to be the architect of NCP’s victory, congratulated all the winning candidates and thanked the voters.

Anger and enthusiasm in NCP
The Nationalist Congress Party (NCP) has won the first Nagar Panchayat election in Dehugaon. Since this is a big victory for the Nationalist Congress Party, there is anger and enthusiasm among the office bearers and workers of the Nationalist Congress Party. In the upcoming municipal elections also, a change of power is inevitable in Pimpri-Chinchwad under the leadership of Deputy Chief Minister Ajit Pawar. NCP city president Sanjog Waghre Patil has expressed confidence that more than 100 NCP corporators will be elected in the municipal elections. He further said that due to Jagadguru Santshreshtha Tukaram Maharaj, NCP came to power in the first nagar panchayat elections in Dehugaon, a famous village and pilgrimage center of Warkari tradition in Maharashtra. The BJP had made this election a matter of prestige. However, voters have categorically rejected BJP’s wrong and misleading announcements in Dehunagar. That’s why BJP has to face a crushing defeat there. In this election, led by Ajit Pawar and Maval MLA Sunil Shelke, the voters here have shown faith in the NCP.
Changes in Pimpri-Chinchwad Municipal Corporation are also inevitable
Dehugaon’s victory is a big victory for NCP in Pune district. That’s why there is a lot of enthusiasm in the NCP. This election, held before the upcoming municipal elections, has shown a mirror to the deceitful BJP and its lying leaders. In Pimpri-Chinchwad too, the BJP came to power five years ago with similar false promises and misinformation. The BJP is plagued by rampant corruption in the last five years. No problem of the city has been solved even when BJP is in power. Therefore, change of power is inevitable in Pimpri-Chinchwad also in the upcoming municipal elections. The people and voters of the city are preparing to hand over the command of the city to Ajit Pawar again. Wagher Patil said that more than 100 corporators will be elected by NCP in the municipal elections and NCP will come to power with absolute majority.
