Godse had raised his voice in Parliament four days ago and said that the proposed Nashik-Pune high speed rail line with the Center for the last six months should be resolved immediately. The Railway Minister has taken this seriously. Considering the importance of this proposed rail service, there is a need to start this work. Nashik, Pune and Mumbai are in the golden triangle of development. Mumbai and Pune have been connected by rail for many years, but Nashik and Pune were not connected by railways.

Godse was trying for the last 5 years
Godse has been making efforts for the Nashik-Pune railway for the last five years. This proposal has been approved by the state and central government. Three years ago, MP Godse raised his voice in Parliament and Rs 2 crore was sanctioned for the survey of projects. Now the survey of the proposal has been completed and the proposal of Nashik-Pune Railway is pending with the Center for final approval since last 6 months.

Taking cognizance of this, Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnav has organized a presentation of the project. Its presentation will take place on Monday, 20 December at the Railway Board’s conference hall in Delhi and an official letter has been sent by the Railway Board to all the concerned departments. It is expected that the issue of Nashik-Pune rail line will be resolved soon.
