Nashik: Revenue officers in the district have made a record of cent percent revenue collection. Taking positive steps in this regard, a total of 54 percent recovery has been done till the end of December 2021. Hence Nashik District has reached the top position in Nashik Department. The Revenue Department is now focusing on recovery, while the sword of the third wave hangs in view of the outbreak of a new form of Coronavirus in the district. All the 5 districts of Nashik division have achieved 40% of the total target till 31st December.
Nashik is at the forefront of recovery in the department and has completed 54 per cent recovery. The state government has given a target of Rs 792 crore 82 lakh 38 thousand to the Nashik department this year. This includes Rs 303 crore 87 lakh 38 thousand for land revenue and Rs 488 crore 95 lakh for secondary minerals. All the 5 districts of the department have completed the recovery of Rs 316 crore 19 lakh 57 thousand till December 31.

For Nashik district, the government has given a target of Rs 259 crore 88 lakh. Despite the Corona crisis, the administration has recovered Rs 139.28 crore till the end of the year, which is 54 percent. Out of this, 44 crore 14 lakh 87 thousand (39 percent) out of 114 crore 60 lakh rupees of land revenue. Also, out of 145 crore 28 lakh minor minerals, 95 crore 13 lakh 81 thousand rupees (65%) have been recovered by the administration. Of the other districts of the department, only 29.29 percent has been recovered in Dhulia. So far 34.44 percent recovery has been achieved in Nandurbar, 38.20 percent in Jalgaon and 30.18 percent in Nagar district.
