Mumbai: Mumbaikars have been troubled by cold, cough, cold and fever amidst the third wave of Corona in Mumbai. The news is coming from every area that people are suffering from fever. Taking cold and fever tablets from medical stores, they are eating. People are not going to BMC hospitals due to fear that if COVID comes out after investigation, then the entire building will be sealed with home quarantine. In view of the increasing number of flu patients, BMC has activated its fever clinic.
The number of employees suffering from cold has also increased in the clinic located at the Mumbai Municipal Corporation headquarters. Earlier, 25 to 30 employees used to reach for the test medicine throughout the day, but now this number has increased to more than 70. Almost all the employees who are going to the headquarters clinic to take medicines, who are being sent for testing, are getting COVID positive. According to one figure, out of those sent for RTPCR test from headquarter clinics, about 4 to 5 employees are coming positive.
People are taking medicines from private clinics
Almost the same is the case with the whole of Mumbai. In every locality, street, people are seen troubled by cold, fever. Whether it is covid or simple flu is not known. If a person suffering from flu goes to the hospitals to get medicine, the doctors send it for RTPCR test. That’s why people are taking medicines from private clinics or medical stores without going to the hospital. In private hospitals too, people suffering from cold, fever are reaching in large numbers for treatment as they are being asked for COVID test on going to BMC hospitals. That’s why people are taking medicines from private hospitals or clinics.

BMC activated the fever clinic after the second wave of Corona. Where this team was getting more complaints, they used to go there and give medicines to the people. Now once again the fever clinic has been activated. Medicines are being given to people suffering from common cold, fever, but will be sent for examination if they show symptoms of corona.
