Bhopal: Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan said on Friday that so far more than 82 percent eligible people in the state have been given both doses of the anti-Covid-19 vaccine. He said that till now 94 percent eligible persons of the state have been given the first dose of vaccine and claimed that Madhya Pradesh is leading among the states which have given maximum number of vaccines.
By issuing a statement, Chouhan expressed his gratitude to the public representatives, office bearers of social organizations, members of crisis management groups, workers of Jan Abhiyan Parishad and health department staff for achieving this achievement. An official of Madhya Pradesh Public Relations Department said that Chouhan has heartily thanked the conscious people of Madhya Pradesh, with whose cooperation the vaccination campaigns got massive success in the state.

Chouhan said that so far 5,18,05,926 citizens have been given the first dose of vaccine and 4,52,42,372 citizens have been given both the doses. He said, “Our aim is to provide complete protection cycle to the state by providing 100% vaccination to the people of the state by the end of December.”
Chouhan said that 14,89,331 citizens were given vaccine doses till 9 o’clock in the vaccination campaign launched on Thursday and the public-participation model of Madhya Pradesh has played an important role in this achievement of the state.
