Mumbai. Omicron cases have been increasing in Maharashtra for the last few days. However, the patients are also recovering fast. According to the bulletin issued by the Health Department on Sunday, more than 200 Omicron patients have appeared in the state for the second consecutive day. With this, 3,502 new cases of delta variant have been reported. While 17 more people died. At the same time, about 10 thousand people have returned home after recovering from this epidemic.
Active patients less than 50 thousand
According to the bulletin, after getting new corona patients in the state, the number of infected people has increased to 78,42,949 and the number of dead to 1,43,404. However, the good thing is that in the last 24 hours, 9,815 people have defeated this dangerous virus, due to which the number of people recovering from corona reached 76,49,669. At present there are 45,905 active patients in the state.

Recovery rate 97.54 percent
According to the bulletin, the maximum number of 932 cases of corona infection have been reported in Pune division. After this, 587 new cases have been registered in Mumbai division, 571 in Nashik division, 565 in Nagpur division, 438 in Akola, 173 in Kolhapur division, 148 in Latur division and 88 in Aurangabad division. In Maharashtra, the recovery rate was 97.54 percent and the death rate was 1.82 percent today.
