- Justified the arrest of Nawab Malik
Aurangabad : The sections imposed by the police in connection with the beating of his sister-in-law by Shiv Sena MLA from Vaijapur in the district, Ramesh Bornare, are all labelable. MLA Bornare has molested his sister-in-law by beating him all over. The Vaijapur Police took this incident seriously and MLA Prof. BJP State Vice President Chitra Wagh demanded to register a case against Ramesh Bornare under Section 353 for molestation in a press conference.
On Wednesday, Chitra Wagh visited Vaijapur and met the police regarding the case of MLA Bornare beating up her sister-in-law. After that, while talking to reporters in Aurangabad late in the evening, he told that recently MLA Bornare molested his sister-in-law by thrashing her in front of 250 to 300 people of the village. After reaching the police station at 2 pm to write the said woman complaint, the police registered the case at 8 pm. The police imposed all the sections to get bail to the accused MLA Bornare. Chitra Wagh expressed strong displeasure on this.

Chitra Wagh raised many questions on the functioning of PI Samrat Rajput of Vaijapur police station, alleging that he was lax in this matter under the pressure of MLA Bornare. At the same time, Chitra Wagh expressed surprise even after registering an offense under Atrocity on the woman who was beaten up and demanded withdrawal of the case of Atrocity registered against the sister-in-law of the beaten MLA Bornare. Action taken on Nawab Malik was not done out of revenge
Chitra Wagh took a jibe at the Thackeray government of the state and said that law and order has completely collapsed in Maharashtra for the last two years. He justified the arrest of Minority Minister Nawab Malik by the ED and said that all the actions taken by the ED so far are correct. The action taken on Nawab Malik was not done out of revenge. BJP city president Sanjay Kenekar, former deputy mayor Lata Dalal etc. were present in the press conference.
