New Delhi: Union Health Minister Mansukh Mandaviy visited the e-Sanjeevani Hub at CGHS Headquarters here and reviewed the telephonic counseling services being provided there. Mandaviya interacted with the doctors providing Telephonic Counseling Services and personally visited some of the sessions.
He appealed to the people to make more use of these digital platforms during the COVID-19 pandemic, so that they can avail health care services without leaving their homes.

Appreciating the health services being provided through the digital platform of tele-consultation, Mandaviya said, “E-Sanjeevani is a revolution in the health sector in the country. It is providing affordable and accessible healthcare in line with the vision of the Prime Minister.

He said that in Thursday’s review meeting with the Chief Ministers, the Prime Minister had underlined that tele-medicine facilities would go a long way in providing health services to the needy.
“The use of this platform is focusing on the shortage of doctors and specialists at the grassroots level, while reducing the burden in tier II and III hospitals,” Mandaviya said. (agency)
