Don’t make the mistake of thinking of 12-year-old Beniamin Ahmed as a normal kid. Benjamin has earned crores in just 12 years of age. Benjamin developed a popular non-fungible token (NFT) collection, which sold for $400,000 (about Rs 3 crore). This popular NFT by Ahmed is known as Weird Whales. Benjamin, who lives in London and is of British-Pakistani origin, does not want to stop here. He said, “I am not limited to just one identity to see that guy with weird whales.”
Benjamin’s father Imran Ahmed had turned his son towards technology since childhood. Benyanin has been coding since the age of 6. Imran himself is also a software developer, who works in the London Stock Exchange.

Imran said, “Benayamin used to look at my laptop since childhood. In such a situation, I bought him a new laptop. Later when I saw his tendency, I started teaching him coding. Surprisingly, Benjamin was coding. There was no problem in understanding.” Later on Benjamin started learning coding through open-source.
The Weird Whales that made Benjamin a millionaire was his second project. Prior to this he was developing an NFT project named “Minecraft Yi Ha”. After learning from here, he started working on Weird Whales, which was inspired by bitcoin whales.
Bitcoin whales are people who have bought bitcoin in large quantities. Benjamin generated 3,350 unique digital collectible whales through an opensource Python script. His project sold out in just nine hours, during which it fetched about $150,000.

Later on Benjamin continued to receive 2.5 commissions and royalties through secondary sales, bringing his total earnings to over $4 million. Whereas he spent only $ 300 to develop it. Benjamin kept his money in cryptocurrency instead of keeping it in a bank account. He believes that cryptocurrencies are the future and India can also play an important role in the growth of cryptocurrencies.
