The second wave of Corona epidemic continues to wreak havoc in the country. Meanwhile, a vaccination campaign against Corona is also going on. Vaccination of people is the most important weapon in the fight against Corona. At present, all people above 18 years of age are being vaccinated. But in the meantime, cases of problems being faced by people regarding vaccination are also coming to the fore. There is a shortage of vaccines in many places in Delhi-NCR. And even after taking registration and appointment through the Kovin platform, people are being returned from the vaccination center. Among them, those who are more than 45 years old are facing more problems, who have already got the first dose of vaccine and the second dose is left.
Shortage of stocks in hospitals
One such case is of ESI Hospital, Jhilmil Colony, a government hospital in Shahdara district of the capital Delhi. Even after taking an appointment here, people who came for vaccination are being returned. I have experienced this personally. For my parents, I took an appointment for the second dose of their vaccine in the slot of 1 pm to 3 pm in the nearest hospital today. (Whose screenshot is given below) My parents Vijendra Wadhwa and Sadhana Wadhwa reached the hospital at 1 pm on time. Several other people were also present with him, who also took an appointment in the same slot for the second dose of their vaccine. He was informed by the hospital guard to return as the vaccine stock ran out.
When they protested and said that they want to talk to any doctor of the hospital about this because they have already booked an appointment. So at first he was denied entry inside the hospital gate. And later, on opposing it, he was allowed to go in, but no doctor of the hospital was found present at the vaccination center. The guard further told them that they could get the vaccine only after coming here at 8 am. Because the vaccine ends daily in the morning. He told the crowd behind this, the crowd of people coming through the walk-in without an appointment and lack of adequate vaccine.

Need for better vaccination management
The main question that arises is why people are given appointments if there is not enough vaccine available at the center. Shouldn’t it be so that people get appointments according to the number of vaccines available at the center during the day. What is the chaos of the Covin platform or the hospital. Such reports are coming from different states and cities in the country. In such a situation, the government needs to improve the management of the vaccination campaign, so that people can be easily vaccinated. Vaccination is the only weapon we have to end the epidemic. In such a situation, all central and state governments need to pay attention to this.
