Mumbai: Health Minister Rajesh Tope has said that the restrictions on wearing masks will not be removed in the backdrop of Corona. However, he said that in view of the decrease in the cases of corona infection, corona restrictions can be relaxed. Minister Rajesh Tope made it clear that there was no talk of making Maharashtra mask-free in the state cabinet meeting on Thursday.
He said that I would just like to say that you should consider whether the decisions taken in England, Denmark, Holland and Britain regarding the Corona restrictions. Can we take a lesson from them? He said that now the Central Task Force and the State Task Force should work in coordination so that better decisions can be taken.

Other restrictions can be eased
Tope said that we should try to work out how other restrictions can be reduced, and not insist on removing the mask. He said that I requested the Chief Minister to provide guidance to the Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR) in this regard. Tope said that the Chief Minister has given his consent to this proposal.

Rajesh Tope said that the third wave of corona in Maharashtra is decreasing. In the last few days, the number of corona patients was increasing rapidly in Mumbai, Thane, Raigad and Palghar, but now it is not so. But the number of corona patients is increasing in Nashik, Pune, Nagpur and rural areas. So the danger is not completely over yet. He appealed to the people to insist on following the rules.
