I request PM to withdraw this order of Chief Secy (being attached to DoPT) & let us work. There should be some courtesy. Centre is not letting the State work. Bengal is my priority & I’ll never put it in danger. I will remain a security guard for the people here: West Bengal CM

What is the matter
On Friday, PM Modi was holding a review meeting in Bengal regarding the damage caused by the Yas storm. In this, West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee arrived about half an hour late. Apart from him, the Chief Secretary of the state also arrived late. On reaching the meeting, Mamta Banerjee gave some documents related to the damage caused by the storm. On reaching the meeting late and leaving immediately, Mamta presented a clarification saying that she was not aware of this meeting. However, on this statement of Mamta, the Leader of Opposition in West Bengal Suvendu Adhikari says that she is not saying the right thing because the Chief Ministers of Odisha and West Bengal were informed about the meeting through a similar process. Suvendu Adhikari defeated Chief Minister Banerjee from Nandigram area in a tough fight in the recent assembly elections.
