Wherein 19 patients have died.
According to the Health Department, 238 new cases of Omicron have been registered in Maharashtra in the last 24 hours. All these reports have been received from the Indian Institute of Science Education and Research. Pune city has the highest number of 197 cases among the new infected, while 32 patients have been found in Pimpri Chinchwad, 3-3 in Pune Rural and Navi Mumbai. At the same time, 2 patients have been found in Mumbai and 1 patient in Akola. With this, the total number of infected has increased to 1,605.

After 43,211 cases of corona were reported in the state in the last 24 hours, the total number of infected people has increased to 71,24,278 and the number of dead to 1,41,756. At the same time, in the last 24 hours in the state, 33,356 people have recovered after recovering from corona, the number of people who have recovered has increased to 67,17,125.
At present, 2,61,658 active patients are being treated in the state. The recovery rate in the state today is 94.28 and the death rate is 1.98 percent. At present, 19,10,361 people are in home quarantine and 9,286 in institutional quarantine in the state.
