LPG Price hike: Liquified petroleum gas (LPG) prices have gone up. The price of LPG gas cylinder i.e. LPG cylinder has increased by Rs 50 per cylinder in Delhi. Now 769 rupees will have to be paid for gas cylinders in Delhi. Gas cylinder prices have increased for the second time in February. Earlier on February 4, the oil marketing companies had increased the price of gas cylinders by 25 rupees without subsidy. The increased prices will be applicable from today on Monday i.e. 15 February midnight.
The double hit of inflation
This increase in LPG prices has come at a time when the prices of petrol and diesel have also reached all-time highs. That is, the common man is being killed from many sides of inflation.
