Mumbai: There is good news for those looking to buy a home in Mumbai at an affordable rate. MHADA has prepared to conduct lottery of 3,015 houses in Mumbai very soon. This information has been given by Home Construction Minister Jitendra Awhad. In Mumbai, MHADA has not taken out the lottery of houses for the last three years. Those looking for new homes are eyeing the potential lottery of MHADA.
According to Housing Minister Awhad, 70 percent work of construction of MHADA building in Goregaon hill has been completed. Our intention is to provide houses to the needy people at affordable rates. There are 3,015 houses to be available in the Goregaon buildings. Out of which 1,947 houses have been built for the poor. 736 houses have been constructed for the low income group, while 227 houses will be provided for the middle income group.
105 houses constructed for high income group
105 houses are being constructed for the higher income group. He also said that efforts are being made to make the cost of one room kitchen less than Rs 25 lakh. On behalf of MHADA, it has been said that the lottery of available houses in Antop Hill in Central Mumbai, Kannamvarnagar in East Sub-city and South Mumbai will also be drawn.
