According to the SBI report, India is in a better position to prevent infection due to vaccination. Rapid vaccination is the most effective way to avoid coronavirus infection. The second wave of coronavirus infection in countries around the world has been more intense than the first. However, now the situation will be different due to the vaccine. In such a situation, India can deal with the situation better than before. So far, 5.3 crore people in the country have been vaccinated against coronavirus.
How was the condition of the past 24 hours
This is the first time this year that in the last 24 hours, the number of new patients infected with the virus has crossed 50 thousand. In the last 1 day, 53,476 new cases of coronavirus have been reported. This is the highest in 138 days since November 6 last year. At the same time, 251 people died in 1 day. Maharashtra is the most affected state, where 31855 new cases have been reported in 24 hours. The total number of infected patients in the country has increased to 1,17,87,534. According to the Health Ministry, active cases in the country have now increased to 3.95 lakh. So far 1,60,692 people have lost their lives in the country.
