Mumbai: The last ultimatum till Monday has been given to the ST employees who have been on strike for the last 44 days demanding merger. Interacting with the media, Transport Minister Anil Parab said that if the striking workers return to work by Monday, their suspension will be cancelled. The Transport Minister said in warning words that this is the last ultimatum.
Anil Parab has said that the employees who have come to work have been given a salary increase. Those coming to work will be given a salary increase. Anil Parab said that the employees who come to work till Monday will be hired, after which suspension action will be taken. He said that if anyone is stopped, they will be given police protection.

550 crore loss to ST
The Transport Minister said that the STs have suffered a loss of more than Rs 550 crore due to the strike by the employees. Parab said that how will the employees who were not working for a month, get their salary. Leaders are responsible for this, will they compensate for the loss.
10 thousand employees suspended
Parab said that I have spoken to all the officers of the corporation, they say that the employees are ready to come. 10,000 employees have been suspended. Due to the suspension action, some employees are coming to meet in the group. Attempts are being made to link the strike with suicide.

The Transport Minister said that the issue of merger is before the committee. The report will be submitted in 12 weeks. A decision for this cannot be taken immediately. Parab said that Sadabhau Khot and Padalkar accepted our role, but they failed to convince the workers. Be aware that most workers are still adamant on mergers.
