Sinnar: The Central Government has decided to launch an ambitious campaign to vaccinate children in the age group of 15 to 18 years. Although this is a campaign to save tomorrow’s generation from the corona crisis, the city council and sub district hospital of Sinnar did not take the campaign seriously. On the day of the launch of the campaign, the vaccination campaign was conducted in the city keeping the concerned officers and officials in the dark. Unfortunately, at the end of the first day, the number of vaccinations did not even reach 100.
The government has started 2 vaccination centers for the city at Nagar Parishad Hospital and Rural Sub-District Hospital, with a target to deliver 200 vaccines each. In fact, only 25 children were vaccinated in the Municipal Hospital and 70 in the sub-district hospital. But the city council is dissolved, an administrator has been appointed for the city council. It is possible to start this campaign in the hands of Administrator or Chief Officer, Medical Officer Dr. Prashant Khairnar himself started the campaign.
There is a sub-district hospital near the city council.
It was possible to start it at the hands of MLA Manikrao Kokate in the sub-district hospital but MLA Kokate did not reach the sub-district hospital and this program was done by him considering his daughter, Zilla Parishad member Simantini Kokate as MLA. On Monday, January 3, various programs of Savitribai Phule Jayanti were organized in the city. The only statue of Savitribai has been installed in the verandah of the city council. Simantini Kokate went to the city council and paid tribute to the statue by laying a wreath. There is a sub-district hospital near this city council.
It was also possible to run a vaccination campaign by hand
It was possible for Seemantini to go there for the introduction of vaccination. But they were stopped from going there. It was also possible to conduct a vaccination campaign in the hands of the President and Vice President of the Panchayat Samiti. It is noteworthy that Sangeeta Pawse, President and Deputy Chairman Sangram Katkade remained in the Panchayat Samiti throughout the day. But he was not shown the etiquette of making even a simple phone call. In the last one and a half years, the sub-district hospital has been treated like chairman and deputy chairman. Dr. Lahade himself launched the campaign and kept everyone away from the campaign.
