Thane: Keeping in mind the increasing number of corona patients in the Mumbai metropolitan area and Thane district, it has been decided to vaccinate boys and girls between the ages of 15 and 18 from January 3. District Magistrate Rajesh Narvekar has appealed to youths of Thane district to protect themselves and their families from corona by participating in the vaccination campaign.
It is worth noting that in the last few days, like Mumbai, the number of corona patients has increased in Thane district too. The State Government Health Department has decided to vaccinate boys and girls between the ages of 15 and 18 years to prevent them from getting infected with corona. Under this decision, vaccination will be started from tomorrow. Thane District Magistrate Rajesh Narvekar said that all preparations for vaccination have been completed.

Tomorrow, vaccination will be started from 10 am at the hands of Urban Development Minister and Thane District Guardian Minister Eknath Shinde. In the first phase, vaccination facility has been made available at ten centers in rural areas. Hospitals, Sub District Hospital Shahpur, Bhiwandi, Rural Hospital Murbad and one Primary Health Center in each taluka were organized at Vasind of Shahpur Taluka, Vangani in Ambernath Taluka, Khadwali in Kalyan Taluka, Angaon in Bhiwandi Taluka and Shivala in Murbad Taluka Is. Vaccination will also be done in colleges
Vaccination sessions have also been organized at Jeevandeep College in Goveli and Sacred High School in Warp, Ambernath Municipal Council, Ordnance Factory, Badlapur Municipal Council, Kondilkar Hall. Vaccination will be done at this vaccination center from 9 am to 5 pm.
