Kiran Bedi will no longer be the Lt. Governor of Puducherry. The spokesman of Rashtrapati Bhavan gave this information on Tuesday. Telangana Governor Tamilisai Sundararajan has been given additional charge of Lt. Governor of Puducherry. President’s press secretary Ajay Kumar said in a statement that the President has directed that Dr. Kiran Bedi will no longer be the Lt. Governor of Puducherry.
He has appointed Telangana Governor Tamilisai Sundararajan to discharge his duties as well as the responsibility of Lt. Governor of Puducherry.

This new responsibility will come into effect from the time he takes over as the new Lieutenant Governor and he will remain in this position till regular arrangements are made for the Lieutenant Governor of Puducherry.
