The live proof of how the security system in Pakistan has become disheartened is an incident on the country’s Peshawar-Islamabad highway on Sunday. In fact, on Sunday, unidentified gunmen on the highway ditched an anti-terrorism court judge with bullets. In this firing, his wife, daughter-in-law and grandson along with the judge were also killed. The police gave information about it. The entire family, including the judge, was passing through Swat Valley in northwest Pakistan.
Police said that two security guards involved in the convoy of the judge were also injured in this shootout. ATC Judge Aftab Afridi’s vehicle was surrounded by some unknown assailants on the Peshawar-Islamabad highway in Swabi district of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province. After this, his vehicle rammed the bullets. Afridi was appointed in Swat district. Significantly, in Pakistan, judges are often targeted by attackers.
Nobody has taken responsibility for the attack yet
The judge, his wife, daughter-in-law and his two-year-old grandson died in this shootout by the attackers. After executing the incident, the attackers escaped from the incident. So far no terrorist organization has claimed responsibility for this attack. Prime Minister Imran Khan, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Governor Shah Farman, Province Chief Minister Mahmud Khan and National Assembly Speaker Asad Kaiser condemned the incident.
Imran said – Criminals will be arrested soon
Imran Khan said, the culprits who have committed this heinous crime will be arrested and they will be dealt with in the manner of law. After the attack on the judge, questions are being raised once again about the safety of officers in Pakistan. In the neighboring country, most of the judges and police officers are on the target of terrorists. Due to Aftab Afridi being an anti-terrorism court judge, it is being discussed whether the terrorists have killed him for revenge.
