Former Indian cricketer and BJP MP from East Delhi, Gautam Gambhir has started the Jan Rasoi Canteen in New Ashok Nagar, Delhi. BJP MP Gambhir has started another public kitchen canteen earlier. Gambhir started the first public kitchen in Gandhinagar in his parliamentary constituency on 24 December 2020 last year. Through the Gautam Gambhir Foundation, the former Indian cricketers are providing healthy food to the people for just 1 rupee.
Jan Kitchen has started in two places in Delhi. Every day about 2 thousand people will be able to get clean and nutritious food through both these kitchens of Gautam Gambhir Foundation. Gautam Gambhir started the second public kitchen today and said that if he is full, he can fight with any force of the world.

The first mass kitchen was started in December 2020
Last year, this foundation launched Jan Rasoi ‘Ek Asha’ in Gandhinagar, Gambhir’s parliamentary constituency in the capital Delhi in December 2020. Under this, people are being fed food for just 1 rupee. All the protocols are being taken care of in this mass kitchen started in the era of Corona epidemic and clean and healthy food is being made available to the people. Due to Corona epidemic, the public kitchen is completely sanitized before serving food to the people.

In a month, more than 30 thousand people tasted in the public kitchen
Gautam Gambhir Foundation launched Jan Rasoi in Gandhinagar, Delhi on 24 December 2020. Within a month, by January 25, 2021, more than 30 thousand people had food in Jan Rasoi for just 1 rupee. Gautam Gambhir Foundation is providing food for just 1 rupee in Delhi for the purpose of ‘Food for All’.
