Maruti Suzuki
Maruti Suzuki has seen a 4.3 per cent year-on-year increase in total sales in January. The company sold 1.61 lakh units in January as against 1.54 lakh units in January last year. At the same time, Jefferies had estimated that total sales in January would be 1.72 lakh units.
The company’s domestic sales in January grew by 2.6 percent year-on-year to 1.48 lakh units as against 1.44 lakh units in January last year. In January, the company’s exports grew by 29.3 per cent year-on-year and were at the level of 12445. In January last year, the company exported 9,624 vehicles.
Ashok Leyland
Ashok Leyland has seen an 11 per cent year-on-year increase in total sales in January. The company sold 13,126 units in January as compared to 11,850 units in January last year.
The company’s LCV sales in January grew by 40 per cent to 5,752 units on an annual basis, compared to 4,096 units in January last year. The company’s M & HCV sales in January declined by 5 per cent year-on-year to 7,374 units from 7754 units in January last year.
Atul Auto
In January, the company saw a 56 per cent decline in total sales and it has come down to 1,629 units from 3700 units last year.
Eicher Motors VECV
The company’s total sales in January rose 2.3 per cent year-on-year to 5,673 units. Which was 5,544 units last year. The company’s total exports in January grew by 7.4 per cent year-on-year to 555 units from 517 units in January last year.
Total domestic sales of the company increased by 1.9 per cent to 4,964 units in January from 4,871 units in January last year.
TVS Motor
The company’s total sales in January grew 31 per cent year-on-year to 3.07 lakh units as against 2.34 lakh units in January last year. In January, TVS Motors exports grew by 43 per cent to 1.01 lakh units as compared to 70,784 vehicles exported in January last year.
