Srinagar: According to news agency ANI, a joint team of police and Indian Army has detected an IED in Bandipora, North Kashmir, while taking action at several places. Bomb disposal squad reached the spot and defused the IED. Police said that, in the past, IED was also found in Khwaja Bazar of Srinagar.

It is noteworthy that earlier on Friday, during the operation, IED was also detected in Khwaja Bazar of Srinagar. It was placed in a pressure cooker. At the same time, the army and the state police have been on alert after getting the IED for two consecutive days. On the other hand, the army has increased the vigil on the borders.
