IRCTC E-Catering Services: There is great news for railway passengers. Indian Railways has decided to resume the service of e-catering. This service will start from 1 February. Now they will not have any problem of eating and drinking during the train journey. However, e-catering service will start at select railway stations only. In March last year, Indian Railways had completely stopped the service of e-catering to prevent infection of COVID-19. Now when this service is resumed, passengers will be able to enjoy their favourite food during the journey.
During the rail journey, only e-catering services have been approved. To prevent corona infection, blankets, sheets and pillows are not being given to passengers in trains and no decision has been taken to make them available again.
