China (China), which has infiltrated countries around the world, has now started to fear the fear of infiltration in its own country. The ‘dragon’ has become so afraid of infiltration and burglary that now the country’s top intelligence agency has announced new rules to prevent infiltration by enemy countries into government companies and other establishments. Government media of the country has given information about this. Significantly, China has been accused of using its hackers to infiltrate neighboring countries and other countries including the US.
The country’s state media, Xinhua, on Monday quoted a senior official of the state security ministry as saying that the new rules would allow Chinese security officials to prepare a list of companies and organizations deemed susceptible to foreign intrusion. In this way, they will have time to take safety measures. The Xinhua report said that foreign spying, intelligence agencies and hostile forces have intensified infiltration into China. These people are broadening their strategy of stealing in more areas in different ways. These things are a serious threat to China’s national security and interests.
New rules announced amid tension from western countries
These rules have been announced by China at a time when tensions between Beijing and Western countries have increased significantly. The US is preparing to deal with China’s growing economic and security power. The country’s powerful state security ministry plays an important role in boosting China’s economic and security power. In recent times, it has shown its strength by detaining foreign nationals such as Canadian citizens Michael Koverig and Michael Sapover. Both these people have been accused of infiltrating into China.
After 2019, those traveling abroad are being monitored
The Global Times newspaper on Monday cited an unidentified staff member at the headquarters of a central SOE in Beijing as the in-charge of foreign affairs, saying that since 2019, surveillance on personnel traveling abroad has been increased. Quoting the staff member, it was said that people traveling abroad have been strictly asked to report their places of travel, purpose of travel, meeting with which foreign people. At the same time, before the Headquarters can review the applications for foreign travel, they will have to get approval from their superior officer.
