Independence Day 2021: Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Sunday gave the slogan of Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas, Sabka Vishwas with Sabka Prayas. He said that Sabka Saath, Sabka Vishwas, Sabka Vishwas and everyone’s efforts are very important to achieve all our goals. Addressing the nation on the occasion of 75th Independence Day from the ramparts of the Red Fort, PM Modi said that when India celebrates 100 years of independence, then he wants to ensure that they fulfill the goal of making a self-reliant India.
Need to change the country: PM Modi
The Prime Minister said that Amrit Kaal will continue for 25 years. However, we cannot wait for 25 years to achieve our goals. We have to get to work now. The country needs to change and we need to change as citizens and with the changing times.
Praising the contribution of farmers in the development of the country, PM Modi said that the focus of the government is to make small farmers, who own less than 2 hectares of land and make up more than 80 per cent of all farmers, to make them proud of the country.
PM Modi also emphasized that it is necessary to hold the hands of the underprivileged communities. He said that we have to reduce the gap between people living in villages and cities. In his speech, Modi said that reservation is being ensured for Dalits, Scheduled Tribes, backward and general category poor. He announced that the government would strengthen the system of rice being provided to the poor through various schemes such as mid-day meals to tackle the problem of malnutrition.
