Mumbai: A police officer of Mumbai Police allegedly thrashed the cashier of the hotel in anger over not being given food. The video of this act of the policeman was captured in the CCTV installed in the hotel, which is now becoming increasingly viral on social media.
It is being told that the policeman shown in the video is an assistant police inspector posted at Mumbai’s Vakola police station. According to a media report, after this video went viral on social media, the matter is now being investigated by the top officials of Mumbai Police.

According to reports, she was allegedly abused and assaulted by the cashier of the hotel for refusing to serve food at around 12.30 am on Thursday. An official gave this information. The restaurant and bar owner has complained to the police against the policeman posted at Vakola police station here and demanded action.
According to the report, the owner of the hotel claimed that the policeman first called the cashier and asked him to provide food. The cashier told that the kitchen was closed. After sometime the policeman came to the hotel and allegedly started abusing and beating up the cashier.

The report quoted a senior Mumbai Police official as saying that the incident took place after an argument over food between the cashier and the API. “We are verifying the facts,” he said.
